structural

I paint on a quality gessoed wood panel mounted to a braced set of wood sides.  I coat the finished works with resin or varnish.  Works are titled and signed "in verso" (on the back) with an attached artist statement.  I can also sign the side if you wish. Most rectangular works come wired for both long or tall dis

24X24 inch  works are 3/4" deep.  Larger works are 1.5 inches deep.  Sides are neutral or a major color from the work.

purchase process

Works are shipped ground FedEx or UPS with a specified target date after credit card payment through my Square invoicing.    Venmo and PayPay are fine, but their processing may take longer.

Full artwork price is refundable if you advise me within two days of receipt to set up a return and the work is returned to the shipper within one week from receiving it.  Please preserve the packaging in good order until you are sure you're keeping the work.  I'll pay the shipping charges, and submit the refund request within a day of receiving in good condition.

shipping

No one likes to pay shipping, but much of that is offset for you by not having to pay sales tax unless the work is being sent to Texas.

As of summer 2024, to ship a 36X60 inch painting ground including secure packaging and insurance would be $536 to a home in Chicago and under $567 to further points like Miami and Seattle.  A 24X24 inch painting ships for between $73 and $86.

Costs can vary  because of things like  peak times, mountains, and whether it's delivered to an authorized shipping center, a business, or a residence.   I'm happy to get a more detailed estimate knowing your specifics.

Shippers like FedEx and UPS  typically require direct signature for values $500+, but usually have some method for rescheduling.
